Our Partners the Westerville Garden Club

Our partners – the Westerville Garden Club – arrived with tools, a workforce, and expertise to do spring clean-up at the kitchen garden area of the yard of Hanby House. They will be planting on May 15th. Since 2005 this dedicated band of volunteers has planted, maintained and watered this patch of land behind the house. The garden is divided into four sections – culinary arts, vegetable garden, medicinal plants and fragrance/dry plants. The plants represent the needs of a family during the period 1850-1900. Please take the time to check out the garden when in the area. A huge thank-you to the Westerville Garden Club.
